    Job Description

    Frette is seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. You will work closely with the Senior HR Manager to support corporate and retail teams across the employee lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding

    • Own the full onboarding process for corporate and retail employees, including pre-start preparation, orientation, workstation setup, and first-day activities.
    • Maintain onboarding systems, employee files, and intranet announcements.
    • Manage employee lifecycle transactions in HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and benefits portals (hires, terminations, promotions, pay/title changes, contact updates, etc).

    Recruiting

    • Support with job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and communications.

    Payroll & Total Rewards

    • Process bi-weekly payroll for corporate and retail employees, including timecard review, batch processing, and payroll adjustments.
    • Administer incentive and commission programs.
    • Manage benefits administration, billing, enrollments, and contributions.
    • Support end-of-year payroll processing and reporting.

    Employee Engagement & Recognition

    • Administer recognition programs (Awardco), employee spotlights, birthdays, and anniversaries.
    • Coordinate wellness initiatives, seminars, and company events.
    • Support internal communications and newsletters.

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Maintain HR, payroll, and benefits records for audits and regulatory compliance.
    • Support reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including state and federal filings.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
    • 2–4 years of HR experience, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
    • Experience in a small or lean HR team preferred.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with ADP, D365, or PowerBI a plus.
    • Discreet, adaptable, and team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Additional Information

    Pay range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
