We identify and address members' social barriers to care, connect them to trusted community partners, and guide them through preventive health actions—by text, voice, or email, in 80+ languages. We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to support Blooming Health's internal technology environment and assist our cybersecurity and compliance efforts. This role sits at the intersection of IT operations, security support, and employee experience , ensuring our systems are reliable, secure, and audit-ready.
This is a hybrid role based in NYC. Candidates must be within commuting distance and able to work onsite at least one day per week , with 2–3 days preferred.
Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, mobile, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
Support both remote and onsite employees, including mobile device troubleshooting and on-call responsiveness (company phone provided).
Support IT compliance monitoring efforts as assigned, ensuring adherence to company IT policies, data protection standards, and industry regulations.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including antivirus tools, firewalls, access controls, and endpoint security solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents promptly, escalating complex issues when required.
Perform routine system maintenance, including software updates, patching, backups, and device configuration.
Create and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and compliance-related records.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate, well-organized technical documentation.
Track, maintain, and report on IT assets, including laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Manage and reconcile asset records within JustWorks HRIS , ensuring alignment with People Ops processes and employee lifecycle events.
Assist with day-to-day administration of Google Workspace , including user provisioning, license assignment, password resets, and group management.
Support configuration and maintenance of organizational units (OUs), security settings, and access controls.
Monitor system alerts, storage usage, and login activity via the Google Admin Console.
Operate with integrity, ethics, and professionalism aligned with Blooming Health's mission and values.

Base Salary: Minimum $67,000 , up to $75,000 depending on experience and relevant certifications

1–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration.
Hands-on experience supporting end users across devices, SaaS tools, and collaboration platforms.
Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and user lifecycle management.
Exposure to security best practices, endpoint protection, and access controls.
Strong documentation habits and comfort supporting compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have (Not Required):
Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ , ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) , or GIAC GSEC.
Experience supporting healthcare, health tech, or other regulated environments.
