Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our team as a Machinist Intern after completing the fall semester. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in precision machining and manufacturing, working with advanced tools and equipment in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain manual and CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to execute machining tasks accurately.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet required specifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting and optimizing machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior machinists to support project goals.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or just completed a college program related to manufacturing, engineering, or a similar field.
• Completion of coursework or hands-on experience with machining, CNC programming, or manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively.
• Enthusiasm for learning and improving machining skills in a professional setting.
