Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our team as a Machinist Intern after completing the fall semester. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in precision machining and manufacturing, working with advanced tools and equipment in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain manual and CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to execute machining tasks accurately.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet required specifications.
- Assist with troubleshooting and optimizing machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior machinists to support project goals.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or just completed a college program related to manufacturing, engineering, or a similar field.
- Completion of coursework or hands-on experience with machining, CNC programming, or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively.
- Enthusiasm for learning and improving machining skills in a professional setting.
