We’re seeking a Junior Paralegal who will be essential in providing administrative and client-focused support within our legal team. This role involves consistent client contact and working closely with our attorneys to ensure cases progress smoothly and efficiently, aiming for optimal results for those we serve. Responsibilities: • Maintain an annual billable hour target of 1,200 hours • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the firm, updating clients on case status and relaying pertinent information to attorneys • Log all time spent on cases accurately in our case management platform • Support attorneys with various tasks and projects as needed • Monitor and document key case dates and deadlines, keeping clients informed—such as following up on payment plans • Collect, organize, and manage all client-related documentation, including financial records and correspondence • Prepare and analyze financial overviews summarizing client assets, debts, income, and expenditures • Manage outgoing communications via mail, email, or fax • Input case timelines and deadlines into the firm’s tracking systems • Finalize and close case files in accordance with internal policies • Provide backup assistance for handling incoming mail and ensuring proper documentation when the Legal Assistant is unavailable Qualifications: • A minimum of two years experience with client-facing responsibilities in a comparable professional environment • Must have an Associate’s Degree or higher • A paralegal certificate is preferred, but not required • Working knowledge of financial terminology and documentation is preferred • Proficiency in Google email, Adobe, and MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Tax, Bankruptcy, or Real Estate law firm experience is a plus • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment • Proactive, can-do attitude, with great follow-through and a client-care focus • Superior time management and organizational skills • Ability to work and communicate effectively and efficiently with other team members What We Offer • A team that likes to have fun through firm-sponsored activities coordinated by the firm’s social committee • A firm that believes in charity and provides monthly contributions to employee-selected charitable organizations • Competitive base compensation • Additional compensation based on performance from defined incentives • A firm with proven processes in place to support efficiency and accuracy • On-the-job mentoring with an established career path from Junior Paralegal to Senior Paralegal Generous benefits package, including: • Accrued paid time off • Employer-provided health insurance • Dental and vision insurance are available • Paid group disability and life insurance policy • Up to 4% 401(k) match and an annual retirement contribution from the firm’s profit-sharing plan • Paid parking or monthly MARTA fare Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly
