Junior Project Manager HVAC (Hybrid) 

Commercial Mechanical Construction | HVAC (Preferred) & Plumbing
Location: Hagerstown / Frederick, MD Area

Overview

We are hiring two Junior Project Managers to support large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects focused primarily on HVAC, with exposure to plumbing systems.

This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who wants to grow into a full Project Manager role while working on complex commercial projects.

Project Scope

• Commercial HVAC-focused projects (plumbing exposure a plus)
• Mechanical construction scope: $5M – $30M+
• Multiple active projects with experienced leadership support

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in day-to-day project execution
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Track project progress, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Help manage project financials and reporting
• Participate in client and internal meetings
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and aligned with scope

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, project coordination, or engineering preferred
• Exposure to HVAC or mechanical systems strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Procore (preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across projects
• Degree preferred but not required

Compensation & Work Structure

• Salary negotiable based on experience
• Bonus potential based on project performance
• Hybrid schedule — typically 3 days in office (flexible)
• Full-time, salaried role
