iCode Cambrian Park is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior STEM Instructor to inspire the next generation of innovators in San Jose, CA! In this exciting role, you'll bring coding, technology, and STEM concepts to life for young learners in a fun and engaging environment. Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, hands-on STEM and coding lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels
Guide students through programming concepts, robotics, and technology projects in a classroom setting
Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for all students
Assist in curriculum preparation and classroom setup for daily instruction
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
Collaborate with senior instructors and staff to continuously improve lesson delivery
Maintain classroom safety and ensure all students remain engaged and on task
Requirements:
Background or strong interest in STEM fields, computer science, or education
Experience working with children or youth in an educational or mentorship setting
Basic knowledge of coding languages such as Scratch, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable with a student-first mindset
Ability to work part-time or flexible hours including afternoons and weekends
Must pass a background check prior to employment
