Assistant Superintendent Candidate Search

Steve has developed over 30 previous Assistant Superintendents into Superintendent roles throughout his career. He is currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the Village Course. Jupiter Hills is a 36-hole facility. The courses are amazing and the culture of the team is second to none. This position requires demonstration or development in skills to include:

• Payroll and time management of employees
• Bermudagrass management in South Florida
• Annual operating budget involvement
• Daily and weekly planning of necessary maintenance needs for season
• Obtain State of Florida Ornamental and Turf Pesticide license within 6 months of hire date
• Ability to perform pesticide and fertilizer calibrations in conjunction with the application of the product
• Project management for capital or operating needs of the club
• Opportunity to work with over 30 individuals on a daily basis

Educational Requirements

Education requirement is at minimum a 2-year degree (Associates in Applied Science) with a focus in Turfgrass Management

Experience Requirements

2 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent is preferred but not required
