LINX MM Technician I Jupiter I, LLC - Colorado Springs, CO Position: Installation Technician Level 1 Job Requirements Job Description Summary The Installation Technician is responsible for various installation activities including, but not limited to: pre-wire on new and retrofit construction, installation of audio, video, security and automation systems, setup of computer networks and computer systems, pick up of supplies and materials and other duties. The Installation Technician will be on a job site with and without direct supervision. Reporting Relationships The Installation Technician reports to the Project Manager and will typically be supervised by a Foreman on a job site. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Education and Experience 2 to 5 years of experience in construction, custom electronics, telecommunications or computer networking. Proficient with desktop computer software such as email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Four-year college degree preferred Organizational and Time Management Skills Self directed individual. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with and without supervision. Ability to follow a checklist, processes, and procedures to ensure job completion including testing and documentation. Language Skills Ability to communicate effectively with team leaders, managers and customers using written and verbal communications. Mathematical and Analytical Skills Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, deal with several abstract and concrete variables and apply previous experience to solve problems. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Valid Colorado Driver's License CTS or CEDIA Level 1 preferred Salary to be determined based on related experience and qualifications.
