    You are: A social media savvy student with a passion for data. You’ll help measure the impact of product launches, global events, social media campaigns and more on the larger conversations surrounding renowned brands. Your insights on both micro and macro levels will play a crucial role in determining social media and PR strategies as well as gauging the success of existing efforts. You have a foundational understanding of social media, a basic grasp of R and/or Python, and a penchant for turning data into visualizations via spreadsheets, Gsheets, Google Data Studio, or others. Marketing, data science, PR, communications, and math-based majors are all solid foundations for this position, but are not required.We are: Just Drive Media (JDM), an award-winning digital PR & Marketing firm that consistently delivers exceptional results for our clients, which include some of the world’s leading technology/digital brands. As communications pros, open and respectful collaboration comes naturally to us and also helps support another core value of life-work balance.You will:Analyze and report on clients’ owned social content, channel performance, and the conversations happening across the broad spectrum of social media platforms. Assess and write reports on clients’ media coverage based on their brand goals. Help identify what works, what doesn’t, spot trends, summarize, and jump in to develop recommendations for clients on how they can perform better.Process and manipulate large datasets, utilizing both automated tools and manual analysis/research.Visualize metrics in intuitive and aesthetically pleasing reports.Research and evaluate the latest tools for social listening and reporting.Work closely with the team via clear and frequent communication.Additionally, you are:A problem solver with data analysis, visualization, and research skills, plus a passion for building brands. Attentive to detail, but also have the ability to think critically and see the bigger picture.Comfortable with standard workspace and collaboration tools (Google Docs, Slides; Slack, etc) and comfortable working within spreadsheets.Familiar with R, Python, Google Data Studio, Boolean. An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills. Skilled at digesting numerical data to see the “big picture”.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and self-guided time management skills - ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and meet deadlines, without sacrificing quality.Easy-going, fun to engage with, and eager to learn new things while collaborating with our team! Length of Program3 months or 1 semester (with the potential for being considered in the future for part-time or full-time work). Hours are flexible, but standard business hours are expected (9 AM ET- 9 PM ET). We are looking for someone to start immediately.CompensationJDM will offer $15 per hour, along with fulfilling school credit requirements.
