We are searching for someone who has an obsession with writing compelling copy and has a creative eye for design. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious copywriter who is eager to get their hands dirty in-platform and design creative from the ground up. We're looking for flexible copywriters who are open to doing a bit of this and a bit of that. A little of everything. From digital to traditional we are looking for a copywriter that is happy to put their “creative spin” on everything. You can expect to write for different audiences, writing for the web, brainstorming campaign ideas, writing ads and scripts. You’ll continue to learn from well-rounded marketing specialists who are committed to your career development. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; as teamwork makes the dream work! Responsibilities: • Ensure the company messages and materials are compelling, accurate, consistent, and compliant • Create, deliver, edit and optimize marketing materials and advertising campaigns • Write copy for the following but not limited to, email newsletters, social media, digital and traditional advertising with a can-do attitude for all mediums • Creative Design for following but not limited to, email newsletters, social media, digital and traditional advertising with a can-do attitude for all mediums • Provide quality support to the team including spell check, proofreading, and ensuring perfect grammar in all marketing materials and other documents • Strategic thinker, you think about who you are speaking to, what they need to hear, and where they are in the sales funnel when writing and scripting  • Deliver finished products in a timely fashion and meet deadlines • Monitor the success and results of campaigns through data and develop learnings for the future • Social engagement and event organization • Develop copy with the ability to source resources needed to finalize tasks • Plan, implement, monitor, and optimize campaigns as needed to grow the business • Work with a smaller team of digital specialists allowing the data to guide the future copy creation and campaign direction • Communicate effectively in a team environment and have a positive attitude with the ability to rally behind others and team ideas Qualifications: • A degree/diploma in Communications, Journalism, or Business fields is nice to have but not required • At least one to two years of copywriting experience or equivalent portfolio • A copywriting portfolio (campaigns, ads, scripts, UX copy, brand writing, long-form writing) • Ambition to learn and develop your career with the drive being to grow the business simultaneously • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills • Understands various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing or has the desire to learn quickly on the job • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines • Must have a high level of creativity • Ability to travel from time to time round Calgary may be required • Basic Computer skills such as Google Suite and everything Apple • Skills or certifications in Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Analytics is desirable • The ability to design in Canva required • Real estate experience is a plus Compensation: $40,000 - $55,000 yearly
