Isla's Kitchen - A Southern Provisions Restaurant and the newest Justin Thompson Restaurant concept, is looking for Expo servers. Pay: $6/hour + Tips

Summary of Position:

The Expo ensures the correct items are delivered promptly to the correct guests and handles any delivery inconsistencies or delays. The Expo is the quality control specialist on the line and fixes orders. Additionally, the Expo coordinates the pace and flow between the kitchen and the Servers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Follow all JTR Group policies and procedures

Ensure each plate is perfectly prepared by tracking cooking times on all orders, checking finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation

Deliver food to the correct table, guaranteeing every Guest receives exactly what they’ve ordered, just the way they like it

Running and Clearing of all plates in the Dining Room/Bar/Private Rooms.

Opening and closing responsibilities of the assigned area including set-up, stocking, replenishing, and daily preparation

Able to carry trays with plates and glassware

Has an eye for detail

Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds

Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time

Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights

Must be able to go up & down stairs

Knowledgeable in Isla's products served

Must be able obtain Tulsa County Food Handlers Permit

All other tasks/duties assigned

Qualifications:

Be 18 years of age or older

Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff

Have knowledge of service, food, and beverage with at least 3 years of experience in front of house operations (or 1 year of fine dining experience)

Have a valid THD Food handler’s License and comply with all THD guidelines

Have a valid ABLE Commission LBW license and comply with all ABLE laws

Have POS experience and be able to do basic math calculations

Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 6 hours
