    Summary of Position:

    Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing and the execution of service in the bar and lounge. Develop and implement training and cleanliness programs for the bar. Work with General Manager to achieve sales, labor, and cost of goods goals related to liquor, beer, and wine.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Consistently provide extraordinary service of food and beverages to all guests at the bar top and dinging at the lounge tables

    Provide servers with all alcoholic drinks rang in through the service well

    Control all aspects of ordering liquor, beer, and wine including orders, maintaining and updating order guides, menus and POSas well as communicating with Brokers and Distributors regarding outages, replacements and returns

    Order nonalcoholic beverages (coke products, coffee, still/sparkling water, mixers, etc.)

    Create and implement a detailed cleaning schedule for bar staff to maintain equipment and the appearance of the bar

    Develop training programs and documents of all FOH staff for continued education of our cocktail program and current spirits list

    Attend weekly manager meetings. Be prepared with topics to discuss and completed previous week’s assignment

    Follow all ABLE laws

    Assist in hiring process of new bartenders

    Conduct inventory procedures with management team

    Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to GM

    Qualifications:

    Be 21 years of age or older.

    Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff.

    Have knowledge of service, food and beverage with at least 5 years of experience in front of house operations.

    Have a solid command of all products

    Be able to recognize the effects of alcohol on guests and respond accordingly

    Have a valid THD Food handler’s License and management certification

    Have a valid ABLE Commission LBW license

    Have POS experience and be able to do basic math calculations.

    Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 6 hours

    Habe the ability to use stairs
