    The PEOPLE & CULTURE BUSINESS PARTNER (PCBP) supports assigned business leaders and clients across the full human resources body of knowledge, with an emphasis on creating a world-class employee experience that helps ensure Juvo+ is an employer of choice! Under the guidance of our Chief People & Culture Officer, the HRBP will lead cyclical and ad-hoc projects and initiatives that support our four key initiatives for 2022:

    • Being an Employer of Choice (Talent Acquisition)
    • Growing our Talent (Employee Development)
    • Enhancing the Employee Experience (Employee Engagement)
    • Optimizing our Services (HR Programs & Services)

    The PCBP will play a key role in our team of global professionals and help to shift our service delivery model and points of engagement throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be driven, flexible, adaptable, creative, strategic, and capable of rolling up their sleeves to support the business. THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE WITH AN EXPECTATION THAT THE PCBP WILL BE ONSITE IN OUR MONROVIA, CA, BASED OFFICE AT LEAST TWO DAYS PER WEEK.This is not an entry-level role. 

    • Champion & co-lead our "Growing our Talent" (Employee Development) and “Employee Experience” (Employee Engagement) initiatives at both a global and local level. 
    • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and partner with hiring managers to support planned and unplanned hiring by building pipelines, sourcing qualified passive candidates, and continuously managing direct apply candidates.
    • Partner with department heads, managers, and supervisors in assigned client groups/locations to support targeted talent initiatives, cyclical processes (i.e., performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, headcount planning, and compensation reviews), and organizational design initiatives.
    • Partner with department heads, managers, and supervisors in assigned client groups/locations to effectively administer the corrective action process, including drafting and reviewing corrective actions (CAs) or performance improvement plans (PIPs), reviewing and making recommendations for employee terminations, and coaching leaders on how to provide effective feedback.
    • Investigate and escalate (as appropriate) employee relations concerns, employee complaints, and Integrity Hotline reports for assigned client groups/locations in a timely and efficient manner. 
    • Lead HR processes for assigned client groups/locations, including, but not limited to:
      1. New Hire Orientation & Onboarding (Employee Set-Up, First Day Schedules, 90 Day Introductory Period Reviews, Socialization) 
      2. Employee Status Changes (Promotions, Demotions, Transfers)
      3. Benefits Open Enrollment (New Hire & Annual Processes)
      4. Leave of Absence Requests (Personal, FLMA, Military, Other) 
      5. Employee Terminations (Final Check Requests & Exit Interviews)
    • As necessary and in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partner, lead and support non-exempt talent acquisition efforts and/or temporary agency utilization for assigned client groups/locations meeting or exceeding time-to-fill metrics. 
    • As necessary and in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partner, lead and support immigration efforts including, VISA application processing and I-9 compliance for assigned client groups/locations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Communication, or Human Resources), or additional equivalent work experience can be substituted for education, on a year for year basis.
    • At least (1) year of prior supervisory experience directly managing the work and output of others.
    • Two (2) to five (5) years of human resources or general recruiting experience; Demonstrated start-up, technology, or corporate recruiting experience is desired, but not essential.
    • Earned HR Credential of Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent)
    • Knowledge of FLSA, Title VII, ADA, and State employment laws are critical to incumbent success. 
    • Practical experience using ADP WorkforceNow (or similar HRIS) and internet-based software programs is essential. 
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including large group presentation ability. 
    • Demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work. 
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong sense of urgency. 
    • Desire and commitment to take on increasingly greater levels of responsibility. 
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet deadlines and manage multi-dimensional projects in a fast-paced environment.
