    Job Summary

    We are seeking CERTIFIED EDUCATORS who do not wish to be a lead position holder to join our team! As a certified educator intern on staff, you will be creating programs and lesson plans, teaching students at a variety of levels, and facilitating a strong learning environment. You will also assist with coursework advisement and ensure compliance with all state and federal teaching regulations. Certified Teacher Interns do not work for a specific school or school district; they work directly for Certified Intern Services of America. Certified Teacher Interns will be monitored and evaluated by Certified Intern Services of America. The ideal candidate is a certified teacher/educator who prefers not to perform all duties, meet all time requirements, or work alone. They should have a background in education and strong communication skills. These positions are designed for certified teachers/educators who are transitioning into, advancing in, or leaving their profession. Duties are the same as the lead teacher, but with less commitment and accountability.

    Responsibilities can differ depending on the intern position. Classroom Teacher Interns

    Collaboratively create lesson plans and curriculum for a variety of classrooms

    Tutor students to deepen their understanding of both basic and complex mathematics

    Advise students on career paths and learning objectives, including assisting with course planning

    Maintain a safe educational environment where every student has the opportunity to learn

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s or Master’s of Education or related field

    Previous experience teaching/ student teaching desired

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong multitasking ability, including juggling multiple classloads

    Familiarity with online learning and computer programs, including Blackboard, GSuite, and Microsoft Office suite
