Position Overview
We're looking for a full-time School Nutrition Consultant to join our growing team.
This role blends nutrition expertise, operational insight, and leadership to help school districts meet USDA standards while creating positive, student-centered dining experiences.
You'll work in a hybrid capacity - supporting clients remotely and conducting regular onsite visits for training, compliance reviews, and operational support.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain USDA-compliant menus using K-12 menu planning software.
- Provide onsite training, audits, and compliance oversight for school food service teams.
- Support Administrative Review and Procurement Review preparation and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with districts to improve participation, menu quality, and efficiency .
- Standardize recipes, maintain ingredient databases, and monitor nutrition/allergen data.
- Participate in planning and presenting at our initiatives that provide training to school nutrition professionals, such as our Innovation Academy and NutriSmart Culinary training.
- Represent Pisanick Partners with professionalism and a passion for child nutrition.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) preferred - OR relevant school foodservice management experience (minimum 3 years).
- Strong understanding of USDA child nutrition regulations and meal pattern requirements.
- Experience as a State Agency Reviewer or extensive school nutrition domain knowledge
- Experience with menu planning software, Health-e-Pro (preferred).
- Excellent communication and client-relationship skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout Ohio and surrounding states for client visits.
- Organized, proactive, self-motivated and tech-savvy (Google Workspace proficiency preferred).
