Underwriter - K2 Insurance Services / T2Green Insurance Program - Remote K2 Insurance Services, LLC, through its affiliated insurance companies and agencies, continues to expand its product offerings and distribution by developing new insurance programs and increasing the number and geographic diversity of its marketing, sales, underwriting, and support staff. It will allow you to work alongside a seasoned industry expert to build all facets of a new start-up program from underwriting to systems delivery. You will be able to see the fruits of your labor on a daily basis, have clear vision into your performance and expand your responsibilities to match your impact. Primary Responsibilities: * Assists the Program Manager with the management of the day to day workflow * Provide input and feedback to the Program Manager on the day to day progress of the systems and resources utilized within the program * Underwrite new and renewal business * Manage and Document files for new and renewal business * Communicate with agents and brokers on prospective and renewal accounts * Maintain relationships with agents and brokers to generate business * Provide training to future underwriting hires * Work with carrier partner on referral business * Work with carrier partner on audits * Manage outsourced operational tasks with vendors Qualifications: * Preferred 5 years underwriting experience * Preferred Producers License (90 days to attain) Skill Set: * Self Motivated * Detail Oriented * Strong time management and prioritization * Strong verbal and written communication skills K2 Insurance offers the opportunity to join an established company in growth mode.
