We cater to Kia & Hyundai vehicle owners who are looking for an aftermarket car part community and shopping experience. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Social Media
• Online marketing strategy
• Grow brands presence on the web
• Building Shopify product pages
• Create cross-promotional marketing plans
• Work alongside the top trending products in the aftermarket automotive space

REQUIREMENTS:

• Some College Experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 1-2 years of marketing and social media experience is a must
• Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is preferred but not required
• Photoshop skills are a great plus but not required
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work. (You must have your own vehicle)
• Team-oriented, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willing to support others
• Extremely organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure

ABOUT YOU:

You are a young professional that is a team player and looking to build your skills and experience with a small business. You have a willingness to help with administrative and office work, social media, and light executive assistant work for the owner & managers. You will be an essential part of our close-knit community environment. Being highly organized, detail-oriented, socially friendly, and communicative are 4 traits we are searching for in our ideal candidate such as yourself. An interest in cars, aftermarket parts, and Kia/Hyundai vehicles is a bonus as well.

JOB DETAILS:

We are searching for a motivated intern for a social media and marketing position with a potential long-term employment option. The social media aspects of the job will consist of content creation for all of our media platforms. You will be mentored by our marketing director to help build strategies for market growth. You will be trained on the proper verbiage and lingo necessary to interact with our customer base and make posts. Great spelling and grammar are a MUST. 

• Knowledge of Kia and Hyundai cars is a plus
• Car enthusiasts are a plus (no mechanical experience required)
• Experience with aftermarket car parts is a plus
• Photoshop skills are a plus

LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA (San Fernando Valley)

JOB TYPE: Part-time with potential for full-time down the line

PAY: We require 1-2 weeks of unpaid training to make sure you are a good fit for the job and ensure you are qualified for the position. After this training period is complete we will evaluate your results and determine whether or not you are a good fit for the company. Please keep in mind that this 1-2 week period is much shorter than the average unpaid internship timeframe from other companies.
