KAI Partners is currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and flexible Independent Verification & Validation Consultant for operations in the greater Sacramento, CA area. The IV&V Consultant will be responsible for providing Oversight and IV&V services for the client including developing and reviewing IT contracts.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years experience providing IV&V services to State entities performing the following tasks:

? Developing IV&V monthly activity reports; ? Conducting risk and issue list reviews; ? Performing traceability matrix analysis; ? Performing system requirements evaluation; ? Conducting system test assessment and verification; ? Developing IV&V task reports. 

• 2 years experience working in a technical capacity on IT projects

• 1 year of knowledge and experience utilizing the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Standard 1012 (System and Software Verification and Validation).

• Bachelors Degree in an IT or related field; Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years experience performing IV&V services for a system integration project using a commercial off the shelf (COTS) product and a system integration project for a governmental agency including validating requirements, interfaces, traceability testing.

• 3 years experience performing IV&V services during the design, development and implementation phases for a governmental agency (local, state, municipality and/or federal agencies) project which utilized an iterative development process.

• 3 years experience performing IV&V services during the design, development and implementation phases for a governmental agency project that included software development related to web services.
