Job Description
KBF is a West Coast regional accounting firm with over 100 professionals, serving clients from our offices in Irvine, Portland, San Diego, and Seattle. KBF serves more than one hundred SEC registrants and hundreds of private-equity-owned and venture-backed businesses.
Our interns become active members of our accounting teams. They work closely with our professionals to complete tax and/or audit engagements. Our internship program helps to provide the fundamentals of public accounting, specific to either audit or tax.
Our Internship program is designed for Seniors and those in their Master's program. We provide a winter internship where students can participate while in school, and we provide a summer internship for those students that are not attending school near any of our offices. Both internship periods are approximately 12-weeks in duration. The beginning and ending dates of the programs are designed to accommodate school schedules.
About You:
You will have the opportunity to leverage the knowledge gained during your college career. If you have past experience working in accounting-related jobs, an internship with us can help you refine your skill set as you participate on one of our engagement teams.
You will gain an understanding of accounting industry dynamics that will help to refine your career path and give you the information needed to make an informed decision about your career in public accounting.
Qualifications:
Selected candidates will have an educational focus in accounting, with a serious intention of becoming a Certified Public Accountant and working in the public accounting industry. We favor candidates that are motivated, quick learners, have good communication skills, and are proficient with Microsoft Excel.
