    KCG Companies is setting the standard for excellence in the multifamily housing industry by building communities that connect all who live and work there.

    WE HAVE AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR (3) REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGERS (TX, SOUTHEAST & MID ATLANTIC) that will be responsible for overall management of multiple construction projects on large-scale multi-family construction projects. This position will require significant travel, but the right candidate will be able to work remotely most of the time.

    THE REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGER is responsible for planning and supervising a wide range of wood framed multi family residential projects from preconstruction to finish. This individual will lead, organize and oversee project planning, scheduling, subcontract negotiation and management, financial balance sheets, and timely and profitable delivery of the assigned regional projects.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)

    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to determine the standards and specifications for the project.

    • Work as a leader with the corporate team to include, principles, senior executives, developers, preconstruction, accounting, and staff support personnel.

    • Determine, source, and manage all required resources (manpower, equipment, materials) for the project with attention to budgetary limitations.

    • Negotiate contracts with external suppliers and trade partners to reach profitable agreements by AIA standard contract documents.

    • Accurately evaluate project progress, by use of both financial and schedule matrices, and prepare and deliver to senior corporate staff, project ownership groups and local governing municipalities. Reporting is a daily, weekly, and monthly function throughout the life cycle of the project.

    • Ensure adherence to all OSHA and company health and safety standards.

    • Take Ownership of the Project.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

    • 4-year degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or equivalent is preferred, or a combination of education and operational experience.

    • Well versed in project management methodologies and procedures.

    • Proven background in residential wood frame on site construction project management.

    SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

    • 15+ years of wood frame on site construction project management experience.

    • Expertise in managing projects with total value of up to $100,000,000.00.

    • High level of experience with process management, improvement, and subcontract buyout.

    • Computer skills required: Microsoft Excel, project scheduling software programs such as Microsoft Project and Procore/Sage.

    ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Coordinate a team of professionals of various disciplines to achieve best results.

    • Professionally and positively interact with subordinates, peers, and superiors to achieve maximum financial and schedule goals of the project.

    • On assigned project location requirement: Up to 50% of project’s construction life cycle period.

    • OSHA 30 certification

    • Function at an extremely high level with minimal supervision.

    • “Can Do” Attitude.

    LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

    • Lead subordinate project management staff.

    • Provide guidance to and with field construction management staff.

    • Provide guidance to and with project trade partners.

    FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

    • Monitors, guides, and has full control and responsibility of all projects financial balance sheets.

    • Reports the fiscal status of the project on a daily, weekly, and monthly bases to both internal and external project stake holders.

    • Prepares all project AIA financial documents.

    • Works directly with the corporate accounting department to ensure the accurate and timely management of project financial assets.

    • Modern, highly interactive office equipment.
