    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    You are using our components now, in your cell phone, computers, cars, refrigerators, and all electronics. Our products are in spacecraft, cars (especially electric), pacemakers, jet fighters (F35), and will go to Mars soon.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Not a call center, all customer orders and managed in computer systems, and our team communicates mostly on Microsoft Teams, and turning around and talking.
    • Service assigned customers, including quoting, entering orders, expediting, and modifying customer orders
    • Cross-sell other products to customers
    • Answer customer questions about products, delivery times, and price
    • Manage customer product returns and receivable discrepancies
    • Work closely with the field sales team on strategies to increase sales
    • Think out of the box to improve processes
    • Conduct conference calls with customers to improve customer satisfaction
    • Learn KEMET Products and services to increase sales

    • Computer skills- the ability to learn different computer systems to manage customers

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 6+ years customer service experience and high school diploma; 3 - 5 years customer service experience and Associate Degree; and/or Bachelor's Degree (new graduates welcome)
    • KEMET experience either now or in the past

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
