Responsibilities: • Manage outside lawyers hired to assist in case resolution, paralegals, and support staff • Perform complex legal research and extensive due diligence • Execute, negotiate, create, and modify deals on the clients’ behalf • Evaluate current and new projects, partnerships, mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions for potential legal issues • Act as legal counsel to clients during legal proceedings, litigations, and administrative board reviews when necessary Qualifications: • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are vital • Computer proficient - ability to use MS Office and Google Suite • Possess a license to practice law and be a member in good standing of the state bar association • Strong transactional knowledge and understanding of corporate law, securities law, and tax law is needed • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, as in-house counsel for a corporation, or as a staff attorney or associate attorney for a corporate law firm Compensation: $150,000 potential
