Responsibilities: • Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • The Senior Associate shall perform legal services including legal research; drafting agreements, resolutions, memos, and status updates; and overseeing and analyzing, documents provided by parties, etc. • The Associate shall advocate for clients, conduct initial consultations with prospective clients, and serve as the principal contact between the Firm and its clients • When delegated by the Partners, the Associate may prospect for new clients through marketing, networking, writing articles, and speaking engagements Qualifications: • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus Compensation: $150,000 yearly
