We are currently seeking a _Consumer Loan Processo_r to join Kirtland Federal Credit Union. CONSUMER LOAN PROCESSOR OVERVIEW: The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for Responsible for reviewing, processing, funding and servicing of all consumer loan products generated through both the direct and indirect channels. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for following established procedures, policies and guidelines for quality control.
• Review loans and documentation to ensure compliance with government rules, regulatory requirements, KFCU lending policy, guidelines and procedures. Analyze and verify the integrity of system loan data.
• Obtain proper documents needed to ensure perfection of lien to protect KFCU's security interests.
• Process and fund indirect loans in a timely manner by effectively communicating to dealers and obtaining completed loan packets.
• Assist with the storage and filing of loan documentation.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with members and external contacts.
• Support and adhere to the credit union's mission, vision, strategic objectives and service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred

• Three years of work experience in a financial institution, preferably in Consumer Loan Servicing or Loan Processing preferred

• Knowledge of applicable regulations

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with members, co-workers and various departments

• Must have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess multi-tasking abilities

• Ability to work with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy and self-accountability in a fast-paced environment

• Strong in PC proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook, with the ability to learn new software programs as required
