Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) including overtime and holidays during peak season
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Perform all work in a safe manner and within all compliance requirements to avoid personal injury
- Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
- Electrical fixing and repair of all plant equipment
- Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as conduit, junction boxes, control panels, wiring, etc., in conformance to the National Electrical Code
- Complete assigned work orders, and project work promptly while maintaining a neat and orderly workplace
- Perform all observations and training timely as the need arises
- Able to mechanically solve pneumatic, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems
- Able to build/read electrical/electronic schematics and drawing, fabricate control panels and start-up new and rebuilt equipment
- Support Plant Quality Systems and observe all plant GMP’s to insure quality food products are produced
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with enterprise software to manage business operations (i.e., SAP or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an industrial/PLC electrician role or equivalent
Additional Requirements
- This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment. Additionally, this role requires frequent standing and walking around the plant.
- Frequent standing, walking and prolonged periods of working on feet performing repetitive actions.
