Job Purpose
KHI Medical is looking for a licensed Master electrician to participate in renovation services in operating rooms. In addition to a good work ethic, candidates will need 7 years of experience in the following skills:
Electrical work in hospital or commercial construction.
Basic construction and/or mechanical skills.

Expectations for Medical Electricians
KHI electricians will be expected to travel in the state where you hold a license and throughout the country as required to participate in OR renovation projects. As part of the team, electricians will provide electrical services while also participating in the demo and installation work during the renovation. Applicants should have the following attributes:
Ability to travel out of town 80% of the time.
Possess a current Master electrician’s license
Able to read plans and follow scope of work, installing equipment to written specifications.
Ability to work in a crouched or kneeling position and in confined spaces.
Ability to lift < 50 lbs.
Possessing basic construction skills for renovation work.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Apps, etc…
Willing to work weekdays and weekends, as required for specific jobs.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Minimum 3 years in leadership role desired
Ability to travel out of town 80% or more of the time
Ability to work alongside the team installing equipment
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and low voltage systems
Ability to read plans, decipher instructions and follow the scope of work
Ability to assess changes in the scope of a job and appropriately request a change order
Construction superintendents may be required to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestones(Nationwide)
Ability to work in a crouched or kneeling position and in confined spaces
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Proficiency in the use of computers for:
Google Drive
Use of Google Calendar
Word processing
Spreadsheets
