KHI Construction is searching out an entry level accounting assistant to the corporate controller. Thisposition will initially be scheduled for 24-32hrs/wk. with the potential for the right candidate to becomea full-time employee. This position will report directly to the controller in a small office and will assist inmanaging day-to-day operations and reconciliations of expenses for a growing company.Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Review & enter into accounting system a high volume of invoices to ensure accurate accountingcoding and job costing- Maintain operating expenses on an accrual basis for analysis- Reconcile and resolve vendor accounts as necessary- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and provide support for the controller of cashmanagement- Date entry and check run processing- Position reports to Corporate Controller and will handle special projects as assigned- Serve as the primary point of contact for the corporate office both via phone and in-person- Research as necessary on information required to operate in states outside of Oregon

Requirements:- Minimum two years experience in accounting role- QuickBooks Pro capable- Experience with Microsoft Office products- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills- High level of accuracy and attention to detail- Strong organizational, technical and problem solving skills- Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal & written- Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements in regard to both companyoperations and payroll/employee details- Unrestricted ability to drive on behalf of company when necessary
