Job Purpose
The KHI Project Manager works with and leads a small team of professionals to safely achieve client goals in an efficient manner. To achieve this, KHIM PMs need to be able to effectively plan, communicate, execute, and learn from short-term projects. As the face of KHIM, the PM position must also be comfortable in front of the client and able to accomplish administrative requirements and communications, facilitating repeat business from our clients.

Preparation and planning prior to an event to facilitate efficiency while on the clients site.
Communicating the plan of action with team members and client prior to work
Manage the work to crew to be aligned with plan of action and predictable
Manage change in accordance with KHI priorities (client, efficiency, and safety)
Provide client with consistent updates in person, via email, and online
Debrief with the crew, management, and client to continuously find ways to get better
SkillsThe Project Manager must demonstrate skills in meeting client expectations while maintaining KHI’s standards of safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness including, but not limited to, the following
Scheduling and logistics planning
Change order management
Billings
Cost controls, estimating and forecasting
Preparing scopes of work
Plan review/value engineering
Subcontract/RFI management
Architect/Engineer interaction
Demonstrates leadership of project teams
Strong written communication skills
Requirements
Prefer minimum 5 years as a Project Manager with $2+ MM commercial projects
Must have strong analytic skills
Must be computer literate (MS Office Suite, Scheduling software, etc.)
Prefer a 4-year BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or experience equivalent required
Be a team player
Highly organized
Demonstrate a take-charge attitude.
