    Your Role at KIK

    At KIK the Quality Assurance Technician (3rd Shift) will work from 9pm-5:30am. They will ensure production excellence through line parameter reviews, meticulous sample testing, great collaboration and communication skills in an industrial environment. The candidate will coordinate testing, maintain lab cleanliness, document procedures, and handle instrument calibration. This position has an hourly rate ranging from $22.00 in addition to an annual incentive bonus.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Plan, schedule and carry out to completion, analytical methods in accordance with Corporate Project Development Process with supervision. Communicates results, conclusions and recommendations in person and in formal written reports.
    • Must be able to safely follow detailed analytical or chemical procedures, making observations, recording test data into spreadsheets and laboratory notebooks, and summarizing data into presentable form.
    • Prepare departmental documentation including standard operating procedures, product technical specifications and project technical reports. The design of new and novel test procedures to assess the quality and performance of newly developed products
    • Possess good oral communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Conducts self in a professional manner and exerts a positive impact upon the morale and attitude of other team members.
    • Ensure that all assigned development activity conforms to legislative, health & safety and environmental requirements by liaising with the Regulatory Manager.
    • Drive improved standards of safety and housekeeping and lead initiatives to improve laboratory practices
    • Ensure that all activities within the laboratory are risk assessed and documented
    • Possess good oral communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Conducts self in a professional manner and exerts a positive impact upon the morale and attitude of other team members.
    • Other duties as assigned

    What You’ll Bring

    • Minimum of high school diploma with excellent mathematics and problem-solving skills
    • 1-3+ years hand on experience with quality systems and checks and/or experience in Quality Assurance
    • Ability to read technical information and conduct chemical testing
    • Wet bench and titration experience
    • Advanced computer skills (Word/Excel)
    • Ability to work in an Industrial Environment with strong fumes
    • Ability to standing for long periods, lifting, sitting, weighing samples, and filling
    • Must have excellent documentation practices
    • Ability to work safely, carefully and follow strict guidelines
    • Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background check
    • Be a team player with accomplished communication skills to partner with various level
