    Job Description

    KINGS ROW TRAILER AND RV PARK IS FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED FOR MORE THAN 65 YEARS AND IS ONE OF THE LARGEST RV PARKS IN SOUTHERN NEVADA, WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE TO HANDLE FRONT DESK ACTIVITIES FOR OUR 474 HOME AND RV SPACES.  KINGS ROW IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED 15-MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS AND 10 MINUTES FROM THE STRIP OFF BOULDER HWY.

    AS A FULL-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDLING FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS INCLUDING ALL GUEST REGISTRATIONS AND RESERVATIONS.  IN PERSON AND OVER THE PHONE, UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • TAKES RESERVATIONS AND REGISTER OVERNIGHT RV GUESTS.

    • PROCESSES RENT PAYMENTS FOR RESIDENTS AND GUESTS.

    • GREETS GENERAL PUBLIC PROFESSION AND CHEERFULLY.

    • PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT THE RV PARK.

    • OPERATES OFFICE MACHINES SUCH AS FAX/COPY/PRINT, CALCULATOR AND LABELING.

    • ROUTES INCOMING MAIL AND PREPARES OUTGOING MAIL.

    • ENTERS INFORMATION INTO THE COMPUTERS TO PREPARE CORRESPONDENCE, RENT, ELECTRICAL METER READINGS AND RESERVATIONS. 

    • TAKES COMPLAINTS, SUGGESTIONS, AND REQUESTS FROM RESIDENTS OF THE TRAILER PARK. TAKES CARE OF EMERGENCY AND/OR “IMMEDIATE NEED” SITUATIONS WHEN MANAGERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.

    • FOLLOWS ALL OFFICE PROCEDURES.

    • RESPONSIBLE FOR OPENING AND CLOSING THE OFFICE.

    • FOLLOWS UP ON RENT AND ELECTRIC METER PAYMENTS.

    • RECEIVES MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS AND DEPOSITS MONEY IN A SAFE AS DIRECTED.  PROCESS NIGHTLY CASH-OUT AND FOLLOW PROPER PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTATION AS REQUIRED.

    • ANSWER TELEPHONES AND GIVE INFORMATION TO CALLERS OR ROUTE CALLS TO APPROPRIATE STAFF.

    • COLLECT AND PROCESS ELECTRIC METER READINGS.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE, YOU MUST BE RELIABLE AND FOCUSED ON PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.  YOU MUST BE HIGHLY ORGANIZED AND DETAIL-ORIENTED WITH FRONT OFFICE EXPERIENCE.

    • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GENERAL EDUCATION DEGREE (GED) AND ONE (1) YEAR OF FRONT OFFICE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN HOSPITALITY OR OTHER RELATED FIELDS, PREFERRED.

    • KNOWLEDGE OF FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS.

    • STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

    • COMMUNICATION PROFICIENCY BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN.

    • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HAVE FLEXIBLE HOURS DEPENDING ON HIGH DEMAND “PEAK” TIME OF THE YEAR.

    • ABLE TO HELP GUESTS IN PARKING THEIR RV AT THE PARK.

    • A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE.

    • PASS A CONSUMER CREDIT AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENING.

    • SUBMIT A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING AND POST-EMPLOYMENT RANDOM SCREENINGS.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT/CARRY 50 LBS. OR MORE.

    • ABLE TO BE ACTIVE IN WALKING OUTSIDE AND/OR STANDING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS, LIFT SUPPLIES, SITTING AT A DESK, REACHING, AND BENDING.

    • ABLE TO ENDURE SEASONAL TEMPERATURES AS WORKING CONDITIONS MAY REQUIRE OUTDOOR WORK.
