    Job Description

    KIPP Delta Public Schools is looking for a highly motivated intern to join the KIPP Delta operations team during summer 2021. This outstanding candidate will support essential operation efforts over the course of 2 months, running from July 2021 to August 2021.  Specific timing is flexible based on project needs and individual time constraints. The Recruitment Intern will report to the Managing Director of Student Success and Support.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The KIPP Delta Recruitment Intern will support KIPP Delta's effort to support essential operations efforts. Responsibilities include:

    • Assist front office staff with administrative duties, including phone calls to propsective and current families. 
    • Assist with auditing of student records under supervision of operations managers at ELA, DCH and DCPS.
    • Assist with canvassing efforts. 
    • Assist with the creating and distribution of marketing materials. 
    • Other recruitment duties as assigned.

    • Must be a KIPP Delta alumni.
    • Current undergraduate experience.
    • Dedication to KIPP Delta’s mission and core values.
    • Organized and detail-oriented.
    • Willingness to take initiative; belief that no job is too big or small.
    • Willingness and desire to learn; team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
