Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years prior experience working in recruitment for non-profits preferred
- 2 years of teaching experience at a high performing school preferred
- Immediate understanding of what effective teaching looks like and a deep commitment to effective and rigorous instruction
- Understanding of human capital best practices to recruit, select and retain great teachers
- The ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels of an organization and to consistently display a high level of professionalism in all interactions
- Track record of success influencing and motivating partners to action
- Ability to manage the ambiguity and multiple priorities inherent in an entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple high-profile and complex projects simultaneously
- Collaborative team player, comfortable leading as well as executing projects as required
- Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills required
- Articulate, professional demeanor with strong self-confidence and initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment in decision-making, think strategically, work collaboratively, and gather and analyze data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Flexible and able to multi-task within an ambiguous, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions
- Ability to motivate, excite, and educate both internal and external resources to support our work in helping our KIPPsters to create the future they want for themselves and their communities
