  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Provide responses to bids, proposals and support contract negotiations.
    • Prepare or review requests for proposals for distribution to vendors.
    • Review provisions in third party contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and Client policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate guidelines.
    • Conduct market research and inform vendor qualification and selection.
    • Audit existing contracts and oversees contract modifications.
    • Review vendor change orders against contract and scope requirements
    • Analyse a contract’s risk to the business.
    • Visit client sites and meets with business partners.
    • Challenge Partner firm’s procurement strategies, bid evaluation, award recommendations and price validation to ensure true market cost sampling and best value for the Client.
    • Ensure that business goals are accomplished by contract implementation.
    • Communicate contract implementations to Client leads and project executives.
    • Coordinate with Project Controls and the finance department to ensure correct billing and accounts payable. Verify receipt of goods and services and help verify quality performance by vendors.
    • Identify potential improvements to contracting and procurement strategies, policies, bidding, and vendor selection to achieve the best value for the Client.
    • Prepare reports on the status of contracts for management.
    • Conduct special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5 + years relevant experience managing pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing projects.
    • Formal Project Management methods
    • Cross functional team participation in a high-tech, dynamic environment
    • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
    • Proven track record in delivering high-quality programs
    • Ability to present to senior management to gain approvals
    • Passionate about solving complex challenges within aggressive timelines
    • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and quickly-changing environment.
