Job Description
The KTC+ Manager leads one of KTCC’s innovative programs – KTC+. KTC+ supports KIPP alumni who are college juniors and seniors with career readiness preparation for life post-graduation.
The KTC+ Program Manager will recruit, match, train and support approximately 200 volunteer KTC+ Career Coaches, and lead programmatic design, communications, and partnerships.
KTC+ Career Coaches encourage advisees to take advantage of the many KTC+ career offerings, reinforce the KTC+ career readiness curriculum (delivered via our central partner Basta), and nudge advisees on needed next steps to deepen their career readiness. Each Coach helps up to four juniors or seniors to develop their sense of purpose and direction and motivates them to participate in critical skill-building, networking and career exploration activities. The ultimate goal is to have juniors secure substantial internships in their area of interest, and for seniors to land career-launching, strong first jobs within six months of BA completion. KTC+ support extends through a year post college graduation or until advisees land their strong first job, whichever comes first.
The position reports to KTCC’s Senior Director of Career Services.
