Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 2-3+ years of regional, community, and/or grassroots organizing and project management experience
- Effective teamwork orientation with the ability to communicate and build relationships with multiple constituencies, including school leaders and community organizations
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing prioritiesVoluntary Benefits (Pet Insurance, Supplemental Life, Accident, Short Term Disability, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills; experience using Excel and/or Google Sheets to analyze large amounts of data and perform quantitative analysis
- Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Familiarity with communities within Los Angeles Unified School District, Compton Unified School District and/or San Diego Unified School District preferred
- A demonstrated passion for improving K-12 public education
- Available to work some weekends and evenings
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation as travel between school sites in South and East Los Angeles and Compton will be required

- Salary range for this role is $48,000 - $60,000 per year
