Job Description
LEARN AND GROW AS AN INTERN AT KIPP ST. LOUIS.
KIPP St. Louis is seeking interns dedicated to education reform and to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. Our internships are offered during the late spring and through the summer. Interns will work with their internship manager to determine specific hours and schedules.
SPECIAL PROJECTS TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Summer| 10-20 hours a week| Paid Hourly
Open to All Majors | Hybrid work environment
The summer intern will provide project support to the Executive Director and Chief of Staff in the areas of Strategic Planning, organizational efficiency, the creation of systems and structures and will support with special initiatives.
Review and provide feedback on KIPP St. Louis's Strategic Plan
Develop annual calendar of events and draft communication to staff
Support in the planning of Regional Team and Senior Leadership retreat
Assist with the project management and research on Organizational structures and management
Other duties as assigned
HR AND TALENT INTERN
Summer| 15-40 hours a week| Paid Hourly
Desired Majors: Business, Education, Communications |Hybrid work environment
The HR and Talent Intern will support the needs of the region, including:
Updated filing and data screening
Developing sourcing strategies for applications
Plan onboarding and new staff events
Welcome new and returning staff to 21-22 school year
Assist with special projects
Other duties as assigned
SCHOOL OPERATIONS INTERN
Summer| 20 hours a week| Paid Hourly
Open to all majors | In person at school campuses
Assist the school operations team with prepping the buildings to re-open which can include:
Prepping physical spaces
Creating student files
Auditing and inventorying technology.
Parent Phone Calls
DATA SYSTEMS INTERN
Summer| 20-40 hours a week| Paid Hourly
Computer Science, Business Operations, Organizational Studies | Based at KIPP St. Louis High School
The Data Systems intern would work with the Data Systems Team to prepare for next school year, working with a new department helping update and build new systems:
Build trackers
Remove duplicate or out of date information from student tracking systems
Help with other functions for the Data Systems Team.
