    Job Description

    _ The Opportunity_

    KIPP Texas is looking for a dynamic, committed and flexible Education Diagnostician to join our Student Support Services Team. We are looking for a highly dedicated Education Diagnostician who will bring a “whatever it takes” attitude to helping children succeed. The Education Diagnostician is responsible for designing effective, high-quality, interventions that are data-driven. KIPP staff approach work with a sense of possibility and see challenges as opportunities for creative problem solving. KIPP gives its students an intensive foundation in the core academic subjects with an emphasis on developing the knowledge and skills necessary for success in school and in life. The KIPP community holds itself to high standards, cognizant that success can be achieved by all, regardless of challenging circumstances, through teamwork, tenacity and focused dedication.

    _ Key Responsibilities_

    ● Receive student referrals and implement the assessment and evaluation process within state timelines.
    ● Conduct Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs) including dyslexia assessments.
    ● Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist with
    interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement, and development of Individual Education
    ● Follows district, state and federal regulations.
    ● Meets all required timelines for assessment, reports, meetings, and documentation.
    ● Facilitates the coordinated efforts of evaluation personnel and services providers.
    ● Attends all required meetings and staff development.
    ● Performs other duties as assigned.
    ● Regular and reliable transportation is an essential job function.

    • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
    • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Educational Diagnostician (preferred)
