    Kirby Rehabilitation is looking for a full-time QMHP Supervisor. In collaboration with the Program Director, provides direct leadership of the Mobile Crisis Response team to plan, organize, direct, and develop all aspects of the Mobile Crisis Response and crisis services provided by the MCR team. The Mobile Crisis Response Team will operate 24-hour emergency services, 7 days a week.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In collaboration with the Director of Crisis Services, plans for program development, resource deployment and utilization, and community linkages related to MCR services. Provides supervisory responsibilities including training of new staff; planning, assigning, and monitoring work; evaluating performance, providing coaching and development, addressing concerns and resolving problems; and managing employee timecards and time off requests. Provides weekly clinical and administrative supervision to MCR QMHP’s and other mental health staff as needed. Provides program supervision and consultation to Crisis counselors. Provide crisis intervention service to de-escalate, the situation and promote placement stability. Coordinates with the Director to meet budget goals for the MCR program. Coordinate with the Director a monthly staffing calendar, and find coverage as staff availability changes. Fills in for on-call shifts for the MCR team and provides coverage on an as-needed basis. Coordinate internal and external assignments of clients daily. Responsible for ensuring MCR documentation requirements and standards are maintained. Responsible for reviewing all Assessment and Treatment Plans for MCR team staff.

    Ensure the screening process begins within thirty (30) minutes of a referral to determine eligibility for a service needs evaluation. Ensure a face-to-face screening is conducted within ninety (90) minutes of initial contact. Build effective relationships with CPD that enable cooperation and collaboration around identified cases. Flexibility is required with respect to the work schedule. On-call is required to be available via telephone or video/face time to provide consultation to the MCR team members when they are responding to calls in the community outside of regular business hours.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Masters in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage, and Family Therapy, or related field. LCSW/LCPC preferred. 3 years of experience in mental health, community-based services, social work, or counseling is required. Crisis or Mobile Crisis Response experience preferred. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly preferred. Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. A valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance are preferred. Demonstrate cultural competence in working with low-income disadvantaged populations. Must pass mandatory background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
