ABOUT THE ROLE As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all back-of-house operations including prepping and cooking on the line, leading kitchen staff, managing food inventory and costs, ensuring strict food safety compliance, and maintaining high food quality and presentation standards.

$58,000 +$70,000 with Bonus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively Work: Lead daily kitchen operations through active, hands-on management, including food preparation, line cooking, quality control, and service support. This is a working management position requiring direct involvement in day-to-day kitchen operations.
Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise line cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers to maintain efficiency during shifts. Fill in as needed when staffing is short.
Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and set par levels to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
Quality Control: Ensure all meals leave the kitchen properly cooked, portioned, attractively plated, and within established recipe guidelines.
Safety & Sanitation: Enforce health department codes, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure all staff handle food safely.
Cost Control: Monitor labor and food costs to meet budgetary goals and ensure profitability.

REQUIRMENTS:
Proven Track Record: A resume demonstrating long-term, consistent employment, reliability, and professional growth in previous roles.
Experience: 3–5 years of progressive culinary experience, including supervisory or lead cook roles.
Degrees and Certifications:
Valid Food Protection Manager certification
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, Management, or Business (preferred not required)
Skills: Strong inventory management, organizational abilities, and proficiency in kitchen management software.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
