    The role of the Docket Managing Attorney is multifaceted, involving both administrative and legal responsibilities. The Docket Managing Attorney tracks client, legal, and filing deadlines, and notifies responsible attorneys to ensure those deadlines are met. The Docket Managing Attorney manages workflow and participates as needed in the capacity of a working manager and will be responsible for the training, conducting performance reviews, and leading the attorneys. The Docket Managing Attorney has direct interactions with legal staff, provides substantive procedural guidance, and coordinates assignments including but not limited to maintaining the firm docket, traditional paper and electronic filing of legal documents with courts and/or administrative agencies, generation of audit reports and coordinating the preparation of audit materials. The Docket Managing Attorney also carries their docket, communicates with clients, represents legal matters, and ensures high-quality work products. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Adhere to Company Service Standards. • Rescue 100% of cancellation requests within the control of the legal team; • Ensure the Legal Team submits at least the communicated number of packets per week. Compensation/Benefits: Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: • Train and onboard new staff • Oversee the daily workflow of the department • Provide substantive procedural advice to attorneys in the Firm • Manage workflow and participate in the capacity of a working manager to meet deadlines and assign work to the teams • Direct daily interaction with legal staff • Maintain a working knowledge of court rules and procedures, and expertise regarding case-related research • Review court documents to ensure conformity with relevant rules and procedures • Work closely with practitioners regarding docket processes and information management focusing on accuracy and efficiency • Contribute to short‐term and long‐term organizational planning and strategy • Stay abreast of developments in the industry and advances in related technological tools, applications, and services • Manage own docket, communicate with clients, and appear at hearings as necessary • Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients • Additional duties or projects as required Qualifications: • J.D. required from an accredited law school • Texas law license and in good standing • Two years of management/leadership experience is highly preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Strong supervisory and leadership skills • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment • Proficient with Google Suite, Adobe Pro, Google Workspace, or related software • Fluency in English and Spanish, other languages are also preferred Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 yearly
