Job Description

We are looking for a senior network engineer as follows:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have experience and knowledge on Networking/Telecommunication technologies and Security concepts.

• Strong hands-on experience with deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of Cisco products (Router, L2/L3 switches, Firewall, Wireless controller and Access point).

• Have experience in end user support.

• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex networking issues.

• Ability to plan for LAN / WAN services to ensure consistent performance and cost-efficiency.

• Knowledge of creating network documentation including network diagrams, configurations templates, technical presentations and reports as required.

• Self-motivated with good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills

• Ability to work and team optimally with clients, management, and staff members in a multi-tiered, fast-paced environment.

• Able to work independently under limited supervision.

• Ability to be travel, on-call and work nights and/or weekends as needed

PREFERRED (NICE TO HAVE) QUALIFICATIONS:

• Network/Security certification (CCNP or similar)

• Basic Unix/Linux, Microsoft Windows sysadmin skills

• Knowledge/experience with certificates/Identity Management tool (e.g. SSL certificate, Radius, AAA)

• Experience setting up and maintaining SNMP/NetFlow/Network monitoring/alerting system. * Bilingual in Japanese/English

• Familiar with VeloCloud SD-WAN FAMILIAR WITH VOIP SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
