** Overview**

We have been engaged by our client to identify a Controller that will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in financial management for Architecture Engineering-Construction firms. Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's financial reporting process.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to management.
• Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue advancement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
• Manage/oversee the audit process.
• Management of Accounts Receivable and Cash Collections.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team achieves its goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in financial management for Architecture Engineering-Construction firms.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Expertise of Federal Acquisitions Regulation Overhead Audit, American Association of Highway and Transportation Officials Uniform Audit Guide requirements.
• Experience working on Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Department of Transportation projects preferred.
• Experience managing accounting and finance teams, including hiring, training, and development.
• Proficient in financial software applications, such as Unanet, Excel, and other accounting systems.
