    Job Description

    Work and learn alongside our North American Innovation and Advanced Engineering team to research, design and develop the new technology based product concept and prototypes for automotive HMI, specifically in the product line of sensoric switches and smart surfaces within agreed time-scales and budgets according to Company procedures.

    Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Involvement in the advanced technology survey and analysis
    • Develop requirement and system concept for a proposed solution
    • Design prototypes, implement and testing in HW and SW with Company processes and tools
    • Involvement in the process of advanced research and development
    • Use version control software; familiar with releasing and variant control of software
    • Document involved research, design and implementation
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • Working towards a Ph.D, a Master’s or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related discipline
    • Experience in software programming applications either through coursework and/or work experience
    • Experiences in EE and/or CS projects either through previous coursework and/or work experiences

    Additional Experience in the following is strongly desired:

    • Experiences in control engineering, data processing, sensor fusion, machine learning and related applications either through previous research, coursework and/or work experiences
    • Model-based development, Matlab/Simulink preferred
    • Matlab tool boxes of Control, Data Processing, Machine Learning, etc.
    • Linux OS, Python, AI tools, etc.
    • Embedded software in Standard C language only (MISRA-compliant C)
    • Software drivers: SPI, I2C, UART, motors, EEPROM
    • Automotive CAN and LIN communication
    • Vector CAN drivers – FNOS & FBL
    • Vector tools CANoe (or CANalyzer), GENy, CANdela
