JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Summer hire will apply their educational experience in a real world setting within Taco’s Finance team. The candidate will assist the team in a fixed asset audit, budget template preparation, financial modeling, accounting support, budgeting, forecasting and other special projects.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Maintains accurate records related to the fixed asset audit
- Makes suggestions based on takeaways from the fixed asset audit for areas of improvement in the capital acquisition process
- Tracks departmental expense templates during preparation and distribution for 2022 budget process
- Ensured understanding of all requested tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist company in asset security by working with operations to complete a fixed asset audit
- Assist accounting team as needed with month end / quarter end tasks
- Prepare financial schedules and templates for the 2022 Budget
- Assist with systems work such as AP (managing specific vendors to lessen workload) and working on the OneStream project dimension
- Assist the accounting staff at Taco subsidiaries such as Hydroflo and Taco Canada with projects as needed

- Current college student enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Accounting or Finance
- Highly motivated with a Growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Currently in Junior or Senior year
