    Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of an Administrative Coordinator, Teaching and Learning to join our team . This is advanced, professional work in creating marketing and communications and supporting events for the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC), including creating accessible communication materials such as video announcements, social media, and the TLC website, and managing the catalog of TLC offerings. This position will also develop workshops for adjunct faculty and support technologies for training events.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
    • Three (3) years of full-time relevant professional work experience in higher education, technology training, or a similar position. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
    • Broad-based knowledge and skills in operating a variety of software applications, including office productivity software, such as documents, presentations, charts, surveys, email, learning management systems, and cloud-based tools.
    • Ability to work evening, early morning and/or weekend hours, as needed.
    • Experience with budgeting, processing purchase orders, and maintaining records.
    • Ability to travel independently to all FSW campuses in Lee, Charlotte, Collier and Hendry counties on a frequent basis.

  • Qualifications
    • Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements
    • Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered tools
    • Repairing basic electrical and mechanical systems like wiring, switches, tools, and manually operating plant equipment
    • Reading and interpreting schematics, blue prints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine appropriate maintenance and repair needs
    • Troubleshooting production equipment, powered industrial trucks, hoists, tools, and company vehicles to determine maintenance and service requirements
    • Fabricating production/facility equipment using welding, brazing, plumbing, and basic electrical knowledge
    • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as required
    • Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving parts and equipment in preparation for inspection, maintenance, or service using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment as required
    • Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving materials
    • Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
