Help At Home (formerly Altrus) operates small personal care homes of fewer than 25 beds that provide a more personal touch than the larger facilities.     The Personal Care Aide provides support in caring for residents under the direction of the Administrator. Care includes providing personal support (assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting), providing assistance with self-medication, taking and recording vital signs, providing emotional and social support to residents. Other duties may include some housekeeping, meal preparation, and escorting residents to appointments.

    A typical day for a caregiver includes:

    • In-Home Assistance – Help your clients with day to day activities like cooking, cleaning, getting dressed, and other basic activities in the home
    • Companionship – Assist your clients with errands like grocery shopping, attending doctor’s appointments, and other events outside the home
    • Community Building – In partnership with the family and the branch teams, create a safe and positive living situation for your clients, staying in close contact about any concerns or challenges

     

    In order to be eligible for this role, you should have:

    • HS Diploma or GED (or 5 years of experience providing care to an individual)
    • Must have some experience working with elderly and/or disabled
    • CPR/First Aide Certification
    • Fire Safety Certification a plus
    • Access to reliable transportation
    • Commitment to serving your clients and their property with dignity, patience, and compassion
    • Recognition of the needs and concerns of others, and the ability to build relationships with others from different backgrounds
    • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to spend evenings and weekends caring for your clients
    • Dedication to professional development, including completion of organizational and state-required training

  • Qualifications
    • Adhere to recurring sales reporting schedule while balancing project work through effective communication with the team.
    • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity through the creation of new, actionable reporting for the Sales team.
    • Support business decision making with sound analytics and communication.
    • Demonstrate active listening skills, and the ability to understand reporting requirements for new projects.
    • Ability to build scalable solutions essential to decision-making across the organization.
    • Support Sales team with customer-specific analytics for business reviews.
    • Maintain and modify stored queries for the suite of sales reporting.
    • Supply custom reports through platforms such as: PowerBi, SQLServer, and Excel.
    • Prepare documentation and support to stakeholders as needed on various reporting projects.
    • Demonstrate and document best practices for data validation and error resolution.

    SOFTWARE / PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE

    • Familiar with data visualization software (PowerBi preferred)
    • Proficient in MS Excel (Data visualization, PivotTables, and PowerQuery)
    • Basic understanding of SQL to support report creation (Tables and Views)
