Job Description
The Operations Associate assists in scheduling the 70+ person newsroom, the 12+ person on-air and announcer staff, the 28+ person engineering staff, and external clients. The position works cross-departmentally, and across various platforms, including TV, radio, podcast, and live events. The Associate also provides administrative and financial assistance to the department of Content.
The position requires someone who is an excellent communicator and is extremely detail oriented. It is essential that this position work proactively and takes a holistic approach to supporting the departments, and is able to keep calm and react quickly and think critically in a fast-paced environment. The Associate will be expected to handle confidential data securely and with discretion. This position is ideal for someone who is genuinely interested in the “behind-the-scenes” work involved with supporting various means of production and content creation, and is eager to learn and grow in the field of production operations and finance.
