Krown Employment Services is accepting applications for full-time Maintenance Technicians. Successful candidates will be able to perform maintenance on a variety of equipment as well as general maintenance duties.
Job Duties • Performs preventive maintenance, assembly/disassembly of production equipment such as, Seybold cutting machines, pinch rollers, glue dispensing systems, punch presses, inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings/seals, calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems and other miscellaneous equipment/tools. • Performs “facility” maintenance (other than electrical), such as structure painting, repairing drywall and plaster, replacing broken windows, repairing doors, door locks, closets and window blinds. • Cleaning HVAC coils and replacing filters • Minor plumbing such as fixing leaks in sinks or toilets • Replacing light bulbs in interior or exterior lighting. • Responds to emergency maintenance requests, as required. • Records all R&M data on equipment log sheets for the supervisor and Operations Manager decision making process. • Obtain estimates for supplies, repairs and parts as needed. • Performs maintenance duties in accordance with Safety, Housekeeping (5S) requirements and OEM specifications/manuals. • Assist with the renovation/remodeling of buildings. • Landscaping including lawn care and snow removal • Building and repairing steel rule dies. • Assists in the planning and inspection of Safety and Housekeeping (5S) process. • Works with machine shops to re-build equipment. • Works with the purchasing department to order machine parts, cleaning supplies and soda. • Responsible for maintaining soda machine, if required • May operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems, repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security and/or install network cabling. • Manages and directs janitor. • Assists in performing physical inventories and/or cycle counts, as required. • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required. • 1-3 years in a building and/or maintenance position required. • Ability to establish identity and US work authorized. • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating/maintenance/procedural instructions manuals • Must be organized, self-motivated, detail oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and follow instructions. • Working knowledge of personal computers and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Internet and the ability to navigate to find information preferred. • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, etc. to practical situations. • Ability to add, subtract and divide. • Must be mechanically inclined. • Good use of hand and power tools. • Electrical experience preferred, for diagnostic purposes only. • Previous forklift experience preferred. • Ability to regularly to sit, stand and/or walk. • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to approximately 75 pounds.
