    Job Description

    Are you ready for an opportunity to exercise your creativity? Do you thrive when collaborating within a small team? Join KRT as a Content Manager, reporting to the Head of Marketing. As the Content Manager, you’ll not only manage the content of Fortune 500 clients for their employer branding efforts, but also promote our agency through content marketing. Solid writing skills as well as account and project management are key in this position. You’ll need to have client interfacing experience to succeed. The ability to juggle various clients and projects on a daily basis will help you in this role, since you’ll be working on several projects at one given time. Your writing and grammar knowledge are of the utmost importance – you’ll get to write:

    ·       Monthly social media content calendars

    ·       Landing page copy

    ·       Employer forums (e.g. Glassdoor and Indeed) and social media profile copy

    ·       Monthly eNewsletters and emails

    ·       Bog posts and articles

    ·       Job descriptions

    ·       Several marketing and recruitment marketing deliverables

    Ideally, you’ll also have some knowledge of analytics because reporting is a large part of our social media programs. Another key factor is being proactive in researching, learning and providing innovative ways to help clients with recruiting efforts through content. Understanding social media advertising is a plus, and having a creative eye for writing or design is also important! Our social media team thinks outside of the box, so we hope you will too! 

    This is a full-time, ONSITE POSITION (NO REMOTE OR VIRTUAL WORK).

    3 months

    • Become familiar with our company narrative and processes, customer projects and guidelines.
    • Be comfortable creating graphics in Canva and publishing blog posts in WordPress.
    • Be familiar with the tools used by our clients (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, etc).
    • Begin writing and editing content for KRT Marketing and our clients.

    6 months

    • Work with clients and other agency functional groups to identify key topics of interest to target audiences and independently draft content (blog posts, resources, landing page copy, etc.).
    • Be comfortable creating tracking dashboards (including Google Analytics) to measure content success.
    • Be familiar with the recruitment industry terminology and best practices.

    12 months

    • Produce high-quality blog articles, social media calendars and landing pages, with minimal errors, on a steady cadence.
    • Optimize top- and mid-funnel digital content based on performance insights to increase traffic and lead conversion.
    • Conduct independent research to support the creation of innovative and useful resources for KRT’s target audience.
    • Own end-to-end process creating, posting and promoting content, as well as account management of client deliverables.
    • Master the recruitment industry terminology and best practices when it comes to content creation, content strategy and content performance.

    JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·       Work with cross-functional teams at the agency (creative, media, account leads, etc.)

    ·       Deliver assignments on time once timeline is set, work within tight deadlines

    ·       Research and analyze various clients’ accounts

    ·       Client management – answer emails and provide outstanding client service

    • Interact directly with clients during meetings, as well as over email/phone on a daily/weekly basis

    ·       Project manage several social media programs in parallel

    ·       Develop content for clients – includes creating copy for landing pages and online profiles, as well as researching for future content and campaigns

    • Replicate client’s established tones of voice, as well as develop specific tones of voice for new clients

    ·       Light graphic design using templates for social media posts (using Canva)

    ·       Update and maintain client presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. (e.g., respond to user questions, finding fans and followers, creating buzz, leading discussions, etc.)

    ·       Proactively seek content opportunities for clients on social media (e.g. when a hashtag is trending on Twitter, jumping in and creating one-off content to be part of that conversation)

    • Monitor various online resources (i.e., social sites, blogs, media websites, etc.) to identify opportunities for clients (i.e., finding relevant newsworthy articles, creative ideas, etc.)

    ·       Evaluate and report on effectiveness of campaigns

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·       Enthusiasm, a good attitude, positivity and passion will have you going far at KRT

    ·       Minimum of 2 years of work experience in content creation – total of 4 years of copywriting experience

    ·       Excellent English grammar skills

    ·       Amazing writing chops (Social media writing a plus)

    ·       Project management and/or account management is key

    ·       Organized, responsible, detail oriented and dedicated

    ·       Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and all the Microsoft Office Suite

    • Proficient in Google Analytics and Excel is a plus (Willing to learn these two platforms? That works for us!)

    ·       Interest in learning new tools such as Canva, Prezi, FinalCut Pro, PicMonkey, etc. (Already know most? You’re ahead of the game!)

    ·       Ability to juggle multiple tasks under compressed deadlines

    ·       Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written format with internal team and clients

    ·       Fluent English speaker
