    Job Description

    POSITION: Full-time

     

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    The Project Architect will be responsible for the overall success of the project and is the day-to-day contact person for the client.

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Responsible for meeting the overall project schedule, fee, and construction budget

    ·         Organize the project team and direct work to KSPS in-house disciplines and outside consultants in an effective manner

    ·         Establish project work plan, budget and profitability

    ·         Monitor project scope development and changes, tracking adjustments to the projected project and construction cost

    ·         Work with project team to create and regularly update overall project schedules and milestones based on feedback from other team members, owner and contractors

    ·         Lead and document internal and external meetings

    ·         Assist the Executive with preparation and execution of all contracts and agreements

    ·         Develop project proposals, execution plans and fees in conjunction with the Project Executive

    ·         Participate in marketing opportunities and facilitates multi-discipline/office collaboration within firm

    ·         Develop new and nurture existing clients

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    ·         Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programs

    ·         Positive, out-going, energetic and fun team player who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment

    ·         Superior verbal, written, graphic communication and organization skills

    ·         Passion for providing exceptional client service

    ·         Proven ability to function in all phases of the project development from schematic design through project closeout

    ·         Deep knowledge of technical design and documentations requirements

    ·         Strong working knowledge of California Building Codes and agency requirements

     

    EDUCATION

    ·         BS Architecture,

    ·         8+ years of experience

    ·         Architectural License, State of California preferred
